“Outstanding food but very quick service
My husband and I visited recently for dinner. We loved the restaurant itself and beautiful decor and staff were very friendly and did their job well. We especially enjoyed the snacks at the chefs bar and whilst I sadly cannot recall chefs name, he was fantastic. Each course was delicious and the scallop was particularly nice.
However, we found service was exceptionally quick. We had 6 courses and drinks and our meal from start to finish was over in little over an hour. We are not particularly quick eaters either and haven’t found this in other restaurants with similarly sized tasting menus. Overall a wonderful meal but let down a little by the speed of service.”

The service is great. The atmosphere is good. Watching the appetisers being prepared and explained was a fun experience. Each course is served with an explanation of what went into the decision to include the various ingredients. The wine pairings were quite good.”

“6 course tasting menu and over night stay
We were lucky to be the 1st overnight guests at Haar + rooms. Original dining experience with excellent staff. Highlights were the trout and duck and time with the Geraldo and his snack concoctions. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Well located and sure to be very popular.”
We went for a quick visit to St Andrews.
The tasting menu was superb and enjoyed the journey. Been before and glad to see chefs table experience still going strong with new snacks.

From the moment we arrived we felt special. Our waitress was so attentive and informative as to what was to come throughout the evening. Then the food arrived, or snacks as they were called! Amazing flavours, beautiful colours - absolutely divine! Course by course we were surprised and delighted.
This was by far the best meal I’ve ever eaten. I wish we lived closer as I’d definitely go again.
