New Openings at the Dean Banks Group

Dean and his hardworking team are always looking to grow and expand into new cities with fresh foodie concepts and creative ideas. The group have recently expanded into Dollar with The Forager and has taken over a unit in Glasgow’s West End to bring you Dulse Glasgow in their West Coast debut.

Dulse Seafood and Wine makes its way to Glasgow

The Dean Banks Group is making its West Coast premiere this year, with Dulse Glasgow opening in Spring 2023.

The location is currently top-secret, but you can rest assured that you will be able to enjoy the same delicious food, cocktails, and wines that our Edinburgh venue offers presently. Albeit with some little Glasgow twists on the menus.

After spending two years looking for the perfect location, Dean and his hardworking team have finally settled on the ideal home for our Glasgow venture in the heart of the vibrant West End.

Expect unforgettable dining in a relaxed and contemporary environment.

Our neighbourhood-friendly restaurant is perfect for cosy and truly relaxed dining. Our team has put together a menu showcasing the best of Scottish seafood, paired with wines and cocktails inspired by Dean’s travels around the world.

The Forager

Dean’s most recent venture, the Forager pub in Dollar, opened its doors late last year and brought some of the most delicious pints and pub grub to the people of Clackmannanshire.

It is a laid-back, country-style establishment that brings cooking and hospitality that wouldn’t be out of place in the country kitchens of yesteryear.

Dean’s first job was in the kitchen of The Brewhouse in Arbroath, and the forager is a homage to those cosy, quaint country establishments up and down the United Kingdom. Expect many British pub classics like fresh fish and chips, pies and, of course, a classic Sunday roast. In the bar area, you will find the finest craft beers and lagers, hand-pulled ales, fine wines, and a bespoke cocktail menu.

We couldn’t open a pub without allowing your furry little friends in there too. At The Forager, dogs are always welcome in the bar areas.

Taking over from the Old Kings Seat bar on Bridge Street, Dean and his team have poured their heart and soul into this incredible transformation. They are turning the establishment into a welcoming lounge, bar, and restaurant. Whether you are looking for a quick coffee, some catch-up drinks, a bite to eat at lunch or a long overdue family dinner, we cater to all. Our friendly team are always on hand to ensure that you and your nearest and dearest have the best time with us.

Grab a ‘break from the wild’ and head to The Forager today. You can reserve your table right here.
